Abstract
The article is devoted to the 140th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Russian physician M.P. Konchalovsky, one of the leaders of the national clinical department of internal medicine. The basic stages of his life and career are described: emergence as a physician and scientist, working in the position of head of the hospital therapeutic clinic of the Moscow Higher Courses for Women and chair of the Faculty Therapeutic Clinic of Moscow University.
