The article focuses on the research of unknown facts of the history of neurology clinical teaching at Imperial Moscow University, mainly related to the activities of the department of nervous diseases of the Novo-Catherine hospital in 1892–1913. In the article, special emphasis is put on the organizational role of A.Ya. Kozhevnikov and the representatives of his scientific school (G.I. Rossolimo, A. A. Kornilov, V.K. Rot, I.V. Tarasevich, and others) in the establishment of neuropathology teaching at Moscow University
