Abstract

Background: Anaemia continues to constitute one of the most pressing public-health challenges in India, with substantial impact across age, sex, and socioeconomic strata. Adult anaemia receives proportionately less attention than maternal or paediatric anaemia, despite its substantial contribution to morbidity, work-productivity loss, fatigue, impaired cognition, and adverse outcomes in chronic disease
