Background: - Catheter-associated urinary tract infections (CAUTIs) contribute significantly to increased morbidity, mortality, prolonged hospital stays, and frequent antimicrobial use, potentially leading to development of multidrug-resistant pathogens. This study aimed to determine the risk factors, prevalence, bacteriological profile and its antimicrobial susceptibility pattern.
