Abstract
The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between the development of gastroduodenal clinical symptoms and H. pylori infection. A case-control study included 112 confirmed gastroduodenal patients and 112 healthy individuals as a control group. Data about age, gender, smoking, alcohol abuse, family history, residence, and clinical findings for all study populations were collected. This study shows the effect of clinical symptoms (abdominal pain, dyspepsia, epigastric pain, gastritis, peptic ulcer, and gastric cancer) in patients with GIT disorder and the control group.
