Abstract

The background of this research problem is based on the emergence of the phenomenon that digital literacy for students in schools is becoming increasingly important due to the increasingly sophisticated development of information and communication technology. The existence of a Literacy policy from the Government aims to support the development of Indonesia's human resources in facing the digitalization era. According to the Global World Digital Competitiveness Index survey, Indonesia is ranked 56th out of 63 countries. In addition, another survey shows that Indonesia's digital literacy level is still low compared to other ASEAN countries, which averages at 70%. From the description above it is considered very important to do research. The aim of the research is to get an overview, information and analysis about Digital Literacy Management in Improving Learning Outcomes of Public Junior High School 2 Students in Sukabumi City. Research procedure, this study uses a qualitative approach, the research method used is a case study, which is a strategy that is more suitable for research where the subject matter of the research question is concerned with how or how (Yin, 2013). The research location is in Public Junior High School 2 in Sukabumi City. The research subjects are school principals, teachers, parents of students, and students. The theoretical basis used is management theory from GR Terry and digital literacy theory from Paul Gilster. Policy, the School Literacy Movement is a literacy movement that involves students, educators, and the school. The results of the study show that Digital Literacy Management in Improving Student Learning Outcomes of State Junior High School 2 in Sukabumi City has been running according to management principles through the planning, implementation and evaluation stages, but there are still obstacles, especially in procuring communication and information technology infrastructure.
