Effect of anti tobacco warnings labels on tobacco users of Kanpur city: a preliminary study

Background: Tobacco is one of the major causes of death in India by causing number of diseases including carcinoma. In India under Control of Tobacco Product Act, it is mandatory to print warning labels over all kind of tobacco products to make people aware about the side effects of tobacco uses. The study was conducted to observe the effect of warning labels on tobacco product on its users and its effect on tobacco addiction.
