Abstract

Introduction: Jaundice refers to the yellowish discoloration of sclera, skin, and mucous membranes. It is a common problem that is faced during the first week of life by nearly every newborn infant. Objective: To determine the effect of fluid supplementation on mean duration of phototherapy in babies with neonatal jaundice.
